This album was recorded late June to early November 2014, mostly one song at a time, on Wednesdays at Helter Shelter Studio in Valdese, NC. Chris (almost always), Charles (always), or I (they made me do it) would bring in our latest effort, and by the end of the evening the majority of the song (if not all of it) would be finished. I think I (Jason) can speak for us all when I say it was an awesome experience for everyone involved. We learned a great deal from and about each other, music, songs, and life for that matter. The best part...it's all right here. A moment in time captured with the 7 working tracks of a Portastudio 8 track cassette recorder. The perfect blend of happenstance and righteous motives united three songwriters over one long summer. It's art for art's sake. Believe me when I tell you, it is a rare and beautiful thang..."Take this brothers and sisters, may it serve you well."---
